Ready for a hot “Sex/Life”?
Netflix’s fiery drama returns for a second season.
In June 2021, the series premiered with a love triangle between Connecticut housewife Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi), her perfect and safe husband Cooper (Mike Vogel), and her emotionally unavailable ex Brad Simon (Adam Demos).
Billie loved her suburban existence, but she missed the passion of her past relationship. Cooper got insecure after discovering his wife’s yearning in her notebook, and his seemingly perfect marriage began to disintegrate.

“44 Chapters About 4 Men,” B.B. Easton’s 2016 memoir, inspired the series. Former “UnReal” producer Stacy Rukeyser converted Easton’s book into a series.
In 2021, Shahi told The Hollywood Reporter that she was lured to the series because it was “very women-driven” with female writers, directors, and producers.

“Sex/Life” Season 1 finale: what happened?
Refresh before Season 2: Cooper’s great. She told Brad, who had chosen Billie, that she didn’t want a future without him.
Cooper believed his wife adored Brad, so he went to Brad’s place to confirm. Cooper indicated he would divorce provided Brad promised to care for Billie and Cooper’s two children. Brad would do anything for Billie, but he thought she wanted Cooper.
Cooper attended an international fair at his son’s school and defended his wife against other parents, regaining hope for his marriage.
Billie thrived in graduate school. Her marriage was rekindled. After hearing her buddy speak at an event, Billie realized she was suppressing her desires. Cooper’s marriage wasn’t enough.
Cooper tracked her to Brad’s flat. Billie arrived and informed Brad she wanted sex but wouldn’t leave her husband.

Season 2 picks up six months after Brad’s proposal with Billie in his apartment. Brad leaves after a kiss.
Billie moves to the city and starts a relationship, surprising viewers. Cooper struggles to recover from his shattered marriage this season.
When a previous flame returns, Billie’s pal Sasha Snow (Margaret Odetteindependent )’s brand is endangered.

Is Sarah Shahi dating Adam Demos?
Shahi and Australian-born Demos are offscreen lovers. On “Sex/Life,” they started dating. 11 years after marrying Steve Howey, Shahi filed for divorce in June 2020.
Shahi and Demos, 37, appear powerful. They held hands during the season premiere in Los Angeles on Feb. 23. Shahi wrote an Instagram birthday post about her partner in May.
