But I got smarter, I got harder in the nick of time honey, I rose up from the dead, I do it all the time I’ve got a list of names and yours is in red, underlined check it once, then I check it twice, oh!
-Taylor Swift
So it’s been a few days since Taylor Swift released her steamy come back “Look what you made me do”.
My social media was going crazy when the video was released on August 27th. In just 2 days, her YouTube video had over 90 Million views!

“Why? Oh, ’cause she’s dead.”— Taylor Swift
She’s had such bad backlash but also amazing feedback for her personality and how she’s opened up and won’t let anything get her down.
Prior to the release, she deleted all of her social media accounts, slowly adding videos and photos of snakes, which started making people question…

Having seen her in 2008 in London for the Fearless concert, the singer has gone up expanding her different styles of singing.

In the song she talks about everything she’s been through, with press, fellow celeb friends, social media feuds you name it.
The “Love Story” Singer has gone from country bumpkin to sassy and not shy!
Dissing the Kardashians and mocks the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards when Kanye West totally stole her spot, along with the snake-infested scenes where she fires back after the Kardashians calling her a cold-blooded reptile she also mocks Kendall Jenner drinking tea.
In her music video, a car crash scene has inner meaning towards Katy Perry. When the car door opens to the paparazzi, Swift’s flashy style of dress bears a striking resemblance to her longtime foe Katy Perry.

Her model friends (The mannequins) how all her friends are models! Also moments of her crazy cat moments, which to be honest, we all are a little cat crazy at times and her highly-scrutinized romantic relationships. One thing that really got me in the video, was the use of all her personalities from previous videos, costumes from fearless, Red. Through time.

I love how Taylor Swift has managed to cram everything she’s been wanting to scream into a creative 3-minute music video.
Now, this is just a tiny insight into the meaning behind this video/song! Feel free to find out more about the words and costumes below!
