Everything on Netflix has been promoted to the *T* with this Graphic Novel series brought to TV. The F***ing End of the World. Written and illustrated by Charles Forsman.
This British sitcom follows James (Alex Lawther) 17 and Alyssa (Jessica Barden), 17, two teenagers living a seemingly typical teen experience as they fear coming into adulthood. James is pretty sure he is a psychopath. Considering he’s no feeling, Alyssa is the excellent and moody new girl at school. The pair makes a connection, and she persuades him to embark on a road trip searching for her birth father.
But things don’t go so smoothly. Creator: Jonathan Entwistle shows some eye gripping and entertaining moments that keep you wanting to watch more. If you have not read the novel raved about in 2013, this TV series is a scorching and cold love drama/comedy that meets Steven Kings Psycho.
There have been mixed reviews on this Netflix original film, with a two-world focus on living in England with English accents to American diners and USA monumented stops and sightings throughout.
Something that’s rather eye-grabbing and interesting to see where it will go. One thing I love about this series is the fantastic soundtrack that comes with it; having researched and looked everywhere, this fall-released series took some time to find all the songs and nail them down.
