10. A Ghost in a Jar –SOLD $55,992
A jar found in an abandoned cemetery reportedly haunted by a ghost was put up for auction by an Arkansas seller.

9. Britney Spears’ gum – SOLD: £335.67
A piece of gum chewed by the pop star was picked off the pavement outside London’s Sanderson hotel, where Britney was staying back in 2004.

8. Virgin Mary Sandwich – SOLD: $28,000
A grilled cheese sandwich sold in 2004, A Florida woman who had made it 10 years earlier said it never went mouldy.

7. Celebrity Air – SOLD: $30,000
A jar of air which a fan closed tightly after the famous couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt walked past being audited and sold for $30,000 back in 2006.

6. Justin Timberlake’s half-eaten French toast, SOLD: $1,025
Left behind after an interview with a New York radio station, sold for $1,025 in 2000.

7. Britney Spears’ (alleged) pregnancy test, SOLD $5,001
It was apparently found in the garbage outside Spears’ Los Angeles home back in 2005.

5. William Shatner’s kidney stone SOLD: £14,000
The 74-year-old was already due to have them surgically removed after he was rushed to hospital with an “unbearable” backache on the set of Boston Legal and figured he could raise some money for charity by selling them.

4. Elvis Presley Used Cup – SOLD:$455
In December 2004, water that was said to have been left in a cup Elvis Presley once drank from was sold for $455.

3. Britney Spears Hair – SOLD:$1M
In February 2007, after Britney Spears shaved all of her hair off in a Los Angeles salon, it was listed on eBay for US$1M before the listing was taken down.

2. The original Hollywood sign Purchase price: $450,400
Someone who wanted a piece of entertainment history got it in 2005 by buying the original Hollywood sign.
