Dark Mode Off / On

Heading out on vacation, or are you travelling for work? Whatever the situation, you’ll need to survive that long-haul flight.

The logistics and the way the planes are built these days means you’ll be fine regarding the actual journey. What we’re talking about here, though, is how you’ll feel locked in that cabin!

Prepare for a Comfortable Long-Haul Flight!

For goodness sake, those long-haul journeys can be pretty harsh, right? For the first hour or so, everything is hunky-dory, but as time goes on, you start to lose the will to go on. It can be pretty unbearable if you’re not fully prepared for it.

So, that means you have to get things ready! Here are a few things you can do to prepare for a long ride ahead:

Dress Appropriately

Wear comfortable clothes! There’s a time and a place to look your best; the plane is not one of them. I don’t care if your crush might be accompanying you, or if you might see a cute person at the back of the plane. You’ll regret it as soon as the first hour strikes.

Bring Small Snacks

You’ll probably get a little peckish throughout, so it’s a good idea to take some food with you. Even if you have ordered the in-flight meals, it’s still wise to have some nibbles along.

Just don’t bring anything that will stink the place out – there are other people on that flight, too.

Stay Hydrated

Likewise, bringing water would be smart, too. You’ve always got to stay hydrated. It’s not nice when you’re dehydrated at any time, but imagine lacking water when you’re already cranking in an uncomfortable plane seat.

You might need to get up and use the restroom more frequently awkwardly, but that’s a small price to pay.

Watch TV Shows, Movies, And Other Video Content

You might want to bring a device that can stream videos to keep your mind busy. There might not be an in-flight movie, so preparing for that would be a good idea.

If you’re not able to use things like Netflix and YouTube aboard the flight, then you might want to download videos (https://setapp.com/how-to/download-youtube-videos) and watch some stuff offline.

Bring A Pillow!

This is an easy and obvious call: bring something soft that you can rest your head, neck, and back on! They’ve tried to make the seats as comfy as they can, but it doesn’t always work out like that. If you have a pillow or a cushion, you will be more blissful.

You’re going to want to make sure that the pillow isn’t too big! You don’t want to crowd the person next to you obnoxiously!

Long Haul Flight

Book First Class!

Okay, this might be a bit of a silly option, because if you have the money, then you’ll probably book this particular seating option, right?

Well, we’ll say it anyway because it just makes sense! If you supreme comfort and don’t want to be cooped up like a farmyard animal, then first class is surely the way to go!
