It is the season of love, the Hallmark holiday, but it is certainly not the most affordable! So, I decided to make a list of things to do that don’t cost much but are still fun. This is primarily aimed at London and Edinburgh. Nevertheless, there are some activities you can perform in your community.

Beach Day
Spend a day at the beach with your date, grab a picnic basket, grab a ball, and have a nice romantic beach day! Maybe watch the sunset!

Art Museum With Free Admission
By visiting an art museum or gallery, satisfy your thirst for artistic appreciation. Not only art museums but there are many different places you can see, educational and free!

Edinburgh
London
Geocaching

Geocaching is a free, real-world, outdoor treasure-hunting game using GPS.
Sightsee Your City
Venture around your city, explore what’s happening and stroll; maybe take some lovely fun photos around the places!
Open Houses
Enjoy exploring? Looking at locations online constantly? Consider this: there are numerous open house viewings in every country; why not take a look? You don’t have to buy.
Water Gun Fight
Amusing and entertaining free date idea for teenage couples and college couples. It also works great for adult couples who are young at heart.

Find a Free Concert
There are always so many free little gigs going on. If you’re in London or Edinburgh, check out these sites!
Karaoke
Sing along to your favourite songs. Find out what songs your date has been singing since she was in twelfth grade. Here’s how you can do this for free. Pick pieces for each other instead of for yourselves.
DIY Cinema
Take your laptop somewhere and have a DIY outdoor movie screening. Watch one of your favourite films together.
Take turns picking the movie. You’d be surprised how much you can learn about someone from their movie selection.

Cook Together
Get baking, whether it’s a cake or even your little romantic meal!

Pet Homes
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary and play with the dogs and cats! Volunteering at an animal sanctuary is a rewarding experience that allows you to give back to the community and spend time with adorable pets. You can play with the cats and dogs at these sanctuaries, take them on walks, and even help with grooming and feeding.
You’ll get to see firsthand the impact you’re making on these animals’ lives and make some furry new friends in the process. It’s a great way to spend your free time and make a difference.

Games encapsulate a wide range of different activities. For example, you can do chill but mind-boggling card games like solitaire or board games. Or even some PlayStation games!
