The next thing that you need to consider here is just putting yourself out there a lot more. Because when it comes to taking your creativity seriously, you do have to let your guard down a little and step into the spotlight.
That could be attending an open mic night or sending your work to an agent. Itās not always the easiest thing to do, but if you want to get serious, itās important that you do it.
Join A New Group
You may even find that you just need to be able to make more of a commitment to your craft. When this is the case, you might want to consider joining a group that can help you do this.
Will it be a writerās group? Or maybe a band? Consider why you might like to join a group and how the group can help you get closer to your creativity.
Take Classes
Finally, you may even want to think about taking some classes too! Sometimes, the issues you have are confidence issues.
Taking classes could be a great idea if you know you need to brush up on your skills, learn new techniques, or network with like-minded people. And the best part is, whether you want to write, draw, design, sing, or do anything else, you may find a class for what you want nearby.
