Ginny & Georgia season 3?
However, the TV landscape is unpredictable. Sarah Lampert, a showrunner, told Deadline, “No, there’s been no talks with Netflix about Season 3.
They’re incredibly organized. So there’s very much a strategy in place where I think we’ll drop it, and then we have to wait to see how it does and if we’ll see Season 3 but I really hope we do because it’s going to be a wild ride.”
In past interviews, the show’s creators said they hoped for a story arc that would last four seasons and end in the fourth.
What’s Ginny & Georgia season three about?
After marrying Paul, Georgia is jailed for murdering Cynthia’s husband, Tom. Ginny and Marcus divorce again, and Georgia and Austin’s relationship remains complex. Lampert told Deadline that the writers built up season three’s tensions well.
“Just playing out hypotheticals, if Georgia is being charged with this crime, we have Zion, he’s Ginny’s dad, we have Gill in the picture now,” she continued. “I think previously, he had no chance at custody because he was a convicted felon, but who knows now, and we’ve got Paul, the stepdad.
We have so many golden storytelling opportunities based on how deep these characters are and how many shocks we want to throw into Season 3 that I’m being cautious about but we do have it planned out.”
Debra J. Fisher, Lampert’s co-creator and showrunner, told The Wrap, “We know where Season 3 begins and ends and we know the final game.”
Fisher thinks season two was about reuniting the mother-daughter duo and most other relationships.
Ginny and Georgia have reunited all season. “Ginny, Georgia, and Austin are now a unit,” she remarked. “The murdering is over.
Together. Ginny helps make this wedding happen, they unite against Gil, and then we break them apart at the end. We love presenting layered stories, and producing a drama with all these balances is the finest.
Our show has several layers; something else will break them apart once you bring them together. It works beautifully. I enjoy the season-ending.”
