Teaser Trailer
On May 30, 2024, Netflix released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming season, featuring a remixed version of “The Final Countdown.” The trailer highlights the Hargreeves siblings reuniting within the reprogrammed timeline, showcasing the series’ hallmark elements: dancing, bickering, explosions, and time travel.
Plot Synopsis
Following the universe’s reprogramming at the end of Season 3, the Hargreeves siblings are scattered and stripped of their powers. Each sibling struggles to find a new normal in this uncanny new world.
Their father, Reginald, has stepped out of the shadows to oversee a powerful and nefarious business empire. Meanwhile, a mysterious group known as The Keepers believes their reality is a lie, and a great reckoning is coming. The Umbrella Academy must come together one last time to set things right.
What the Creator Says
Steve Blackman, the series creator, had a clear vision for Season 4 from the beginning. “I’ve already sort of worked out the beginning, middle and end of it… I have a really good sense of what season four would be, and it should be just as bonkers as the other seasons,” Blackman told The Hollywood Reporter.

Elliot Page mentioned that fans can expect “excitement, surprises, humour, twists, turns, and action.” Emmy Raver-Lampman added, “Season 4 is really packed with the classic ‘Umbrella Academy’ family nonsense and shenanigans that you look forward to.” Ritu Arya teased that it’s “the best season yet.”
