The best part? Cillian Murphy is back. And not just back — back-back. By order of the Shelby family, we have all the dirt on the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie.
Netflix seals the deal
Netflix officially confirmed the movie on 4 June 2024, and the internet immediately exploded like a backroom whiskey still. Not only is the streaming giant bringing us the film, but Tom Harper — the director behind some of the best Season 1 episodes — is returning to work his magic.
The script? Hand-delivered from the typewriter of series creator Steven Knight, so expect every “Oi, Tommy!” and every ominous pause to feel authentically Peaky.

Filming starts September 2024 — and they’re going home
