About Me โ€“ Creative Lifestyle Blogger at The Punk Rock Princess

Introduction

Ever wondered what happens when you mix a love of travel, fashion, food, entertainment, and a dash of spooky season? You get The Punk Rock Princess. Hi, Iโ€™m Jadine โ€” a creative lifestyle blogger who believes life should be playful, a little rebellious, and always full of stories worth telling. This blog is my way of inspiring you to find joy in the messy and the magical.

My story

Once upon a drizzle, I was the brains behind the Edinburgh Blogger Conference โ€” remember Creative Events? That was me, bringing bloggers and brands together for workshops, cocktails, and confidence-boosting panels in Scotland. Today, Iโ€™ve traded misty mornings for the sun-soaked streets of Malta (though Edinburgh still owns a chunk of my soul โ€” and my coat collection).

Now, alongside running this blog, Iโ€™m also the editor of I DO Bridal Magazine. Itโ€™s Maltaโ€™s cheeky yet stylish nod to love, lace, and everything wedding โ€” real couples, real creativity, and just enough glitter to keep things fabulous.

The blog that started it all

The Punk Rock Princess isnโ€™t just a name โ€” itโ€™s a vibe. This is where pop culture meets real talk. Where fashion rants, emotional travel tales, ghost stories, guilty pleasure playlists, and kitchen mishaps all have a home.

Here, I celebrate the messy and the magical. DIYs with googly eyes, nostalgia-filled throwbacks, mental health reflections, and plenty of proof that the โ€™90s were low-key iconic. Itโ€™s loud, honest, a little haunted โ€” and unapologetically fun.

A suitcase full of stories (and snacks)

From Namibia to Bangladesh, Vietnam to England, Iโ€™ve picked up cultures, inspiration, and way too many fridge magnets. Whether sipping smoky whisky in Islay or dodging cows in Goa, my travels have shaped how I see the world โ€” and how I write about it.

I believe in storytelling that lingers like your grandmotherโ€™s perfume or that one perfect bite of street food youโ€™ll never forget. And yes, I also believe in snacks. A lot.

Beyond the blog

When Iโ€™m not blogging, youโ€™ll find me editing wedding features, collaborating with brands, or crafting web copy that actually sounds human. Iโ€™ve worked across fashion, hospitality, wellness, tech, and events โ€” with a soft spot for anything indie, edgy, or glitter-drenched.

Why I write (and why youโ€™re here)

Lifeโ€™s messy, hilarious, heartbreaking, and beautiful. This blog is my way of saying: letโ€™s talk about it, laugh about it, and share stories that make life feel extraordinary.
