Bangkok: The Heartbeat of Thailand
Bang Khu Wiang Floating Market
If you’re looking for an authentic floating market experience without the touristy feel, head to Bang Khu Wiang. Monks arrive by boat in the early morning for their daily ‘tak baat’ (alms round), and you’ll find fresh, farm-grown produce.
Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho)
Wat Pho, located in the Phra Nakhon District, is home to the magnificent Reclining Buddha. This Buddhist temple complex on Rattanakosin Island is a sight to behold, just south of the Grand Palace.
