Do any of you miss the original MTV? The most entertaining programs are listed here. I was a huge MTV fan when I was a kid. That’s what it was! Used to be a big fan of shows like MADE and NEXT. Teens of the 1990s, here are a few. Try to recall them for the test!
1. Room Raiders, 2003–2009
Three men or women’s rooms are inspected or “raided” by a single man or woman during the show. Based on what they see in their rooms and what they don’t see, the raider chooses a date with one of the three singles and does not meet them or visit any of their photos.
The three contestants sit in a van and watch the housekeepers inspect their rooms. Contestants then raid the raider’s room after they have completed their respective rooms. Raider confronts the final three contestants and makes a decision.

2. Pimp My Ride (2004- 2007)
Pimp My Ride is a TV show produced by MTV and hosted by rapper Xzibit. Each episode consists of taking one car in poor condition, restoring it, and customizing it. The original American version was hosted by rapper Xzibit (one episode featured guest hosts Chamillionaire and Don Omar).

In the first episode, after ten contestants were voted off, Tequila came out as bisexual to the remaining contestants. The last two male and two remaining female contestants ended up living together for the rest of the show.

4. Paris Hilton’s My New BFF (2008)
“My New BFF” or “Paris Hilton’s New BFF” is a competitive reality show in which Paris Hilton searches for a new best friend. MTV’s MADE is a self-improvement reality television series broadcast on MTV. The series follows teens who have a goal and want to be “made” into singers, athletes, dancers, skateboarders, etc. The teens are joined by a “Made Coach,” an expert in their chosen field, trying to help them attain their goals over several weeks. 6.DisMissed (2001)
Dismissed is an MTV reality show that has been airing since 2001. Someone sets up a triple date by taking two people out at once. The people going on a date each get to pick where they’d like to go (for a total of two locations), and the person in charge of the date will eliminate anyone they don’t care for the most. Every single participant in the speed dating competition also has a time-out card. The card, when used, gave the contestant twenty minutes of privacy with their date.

7. Taildaters (2002-2003)
TAILDATERS is the first dating show of its kind. It follows its subjects on fantasy dates while their “Backseat Daters,” their closest friends and family, spy on them and give instant on-screen comments from the TAILDATERS stakeout bus, a mobile television studio. Not scripted, graphic ‘pop-ups’ made up by producers, TAILGATE takes the dating show to a new level by having friends and family come onscreen to reveal what their dater is thinking or secrets they may be hiding.

8. Date My Mom (2004-2006)
Kalissa Productions is responsible for creating the MTV dating show Date, My Mom. First airing on NBC on November 15, 2004, the series ran until 2006. Three mothers, each with a son or daughter between 18 and 24, take a young man or woman out on three dates to persuade them to choose their child. The potential parent only gets to know the mother and decides based on her first impression and any details she shares about her child.

9. Next (2005-2008)
“Next” deals with a single person going on blind dates with possibly five other people who were secluded in an RV, referred to as the “Next Bus.” The added twist was that the date could end anytime by shouting “Next.”

10. Miss Seventeen (2005)
Miss Seventeen is an MTV show aired between October 17 and December 19, 2005. The exhibition included 17 women participating in an internship and a university bursary. She was the youngest head editor to handle 17 magazines, and Atoosa Rubenstein was the primary judge.
To create a role model for young women, they chose 17 females from all around the United States who are photogenic and top-of-the-line. The girls were flown to New York to participate in a contest in a format similar to The Apprentice — tasks for Atoosa would be assigned to them, and one female would be eliminated by the challenge each episode. The winner would have her face on the cover of Seventeen magazine, receive a college grant, and possibly an internship at the magazine.
